Church Services
Bible Study
All services starting on May 1st at 8:30 am with music on the first and third Sunday of the month.
Masks are requested per Columbia County guidelines. Social distancing with marked pews.
EVENTS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST, SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER
When Bible Study restarts it will be in Fellowship Hall and via Zoom on Thursdays, 6:30 pm.
ALL REGULAR SUNDAY SERVICES WILL BE at 8:30 AM - Coffee Hour follows.
CHURCH SCHEDULE - Mary Young, Junior Warden
August 7-14: Father Lockwood will be on vacation.
We will celebrate with Morning Prayer at 8:30 am in the Sanctuary.
For clergy services, call Mary Young, (518-794-7538).
Mary will contact Father Randy Lucas or Father Malionick
of Kinderhook, who is the Dean.
August 21: "Back to School Bus" will arrive on the back pew.
We will collect until September 18th. A list of what students
need is available on the school web site, but they can
use most any supply you donate. We share the supplies
between the Elementary and High School.
August 21, 12-4 pm: Community Picnic: August 21 Shatford Park.
All are welcome. There will be music and information booths
about groups in town. Hamburgers, hotdogs, corn, soft drinks
and water will be available as well as covered dishes brought by
community members for salads and desserts.
September 4th: Father Lockwood is away.
Morning Prayer service at 8:30 am.
Again, Father Lucas and Father Malionick are available
if you need clergy services. You may call Bitsy or Mary.
September 8th, 6:30 pm: Bible Study resumes in the Fellowship Hall
or by Zoom. We pick back up starting with the book of Ezra.
September 18th, 8:30 am, Teaching Sunday: We will be celebrating
from the 1789 Prayer Book; the first United States Prayer book.
Music will be inspirational songs from Post Revolution and
Coffee Hour will have food from that period. Dressing in costume
is optional.
September 18th, 3 pm: The Deanery will join us for Evening Prayer
from 1789, a business meeting and refreshments.
Mary cannot talk at this meeting either, what will she do?
September 21st, 6pm: Vestry meeting
October 2nd, 3pm: Blessing of the Animals in the parking lot.
Let your friends and neighbors know. We will have treats
for the animals and maybe some for the humans, too.
October 16th, 3pm: Lebanon Valley Historical Society will join us
in the sanctuary to see and hear about our Stained-Glass windows.
Refreshments willbe served.
